Dr. Emily Elsner
Emily Elsner joined SusTec in July 2021 and supported the re-design of the Corporate Sustainability course.
Emily worked on impact and evaluation, non-profit/social enterprises and executive education. Before joining ETH, she was co-founder of an entrepreneurship incubator for refugees and migrants, and a consultant and trainer in impact measurement and evaluation. From 2010-2015 she completed an interdisciplinary PhD at DownloadLancaster Universityvertical_align_bottom in honeybee health and beekeeping culture, bridging anthropology, human geography and entomology. Prior to her PhD, Emily studied biology and nature conservation, and worked on invasive species, human-animal relationships, habitat loss and global conservation policy. Emily was already associated with MTEC in her role as the Social Impact Manager at the DownloadembaXvertical_align_bottom executive MBA programme, jointly between DownloadETHvertical_align_bottom and DownloadHSGvertical_align_bottom.
