Christina Nakhle
Christina Nakhle joined the Chair for Sustainability and Technology as a scientific researcher in August 2017. Christina contributed to the development of the Corporate Sustainability lecture led by Prof. Hoffmann, in addition to other research projects including the technological evaluation of construction materials and the evaluation of international building energy codes.
Christina holds a bachelor`s degree in Civil and Environmental Engineering from the DownloadAmerican University of Beirutvertical_align_bottom, Lebanon. After Graduation, she conducted a one year fellowship at DownloadTranssolar Energietechnikvertical_align_bottom learning about the fundamentals of climate responsive design for buildings and urban spaces, and investigating the potential of geothermal systems in Beirut (read more Downloadherevertical_align_bottom). Thereafter, she pursued an MBA in Energy Management at the DownloadTechnical University of Berlinvertical_align_bottom with a brief internship at the DownloadChair of Architecture and Building Systemsvertical_align_bottom at ETHZ. In her thesis, Christina assessed the risks and benefits of the deregulation and privatization of the Lebanese electricity sector.
