Anna worked at the Sustainability in Business Lab (sus.lab) within the Group for Sustainability and Technology (SusTec) at ETH Zürich until November 2022.

She previously finished the ETH MSc in Food Science where her thesis focused on the conceptualization of a Switzerland-wide food waste monitoring system for retail, gastronomy, and processing industry.

Prior to that, Anna worked for the start-up Planted in product development and the distribution of new plant-based food products. During her studies she was involved in the ETH Entrepreneur Club to support early-stage start-ups and foster an entrepreneurial mind-set among students. With her ambition to accelerate innovations, she is eager to tackle the challenges of packaging reduction and bridging the gaps between research and industry to support the implementation of impactful solutions for a more sustainable food system. At sus.lab, she was primarily working on circular economy projects, specifically focused on the reduction of packaging impact in retail.
