Dr. David Grosspietsch

David Grosspietsch was a senior researcher at SusTec, where he also received his PhD in July 2018. His thesis is entitled "Fostering Technological Change for a Sustainable Built Environment: The Role of Policy, System Design and Performance".

David also holds a degree in Business Engineering (Dipl.-Wi.-Ing.) from Karlsruhe Institute of Technology (KIT) and spent an academic year at California State University (CSUEB) in the context of the Baden-Württemberg Student Exchange Program.

Prior to rejoining SusTec in 2014, David worked as a consultant for Arthur D. Little for two years, where he advised clients on strategic and organizational topics in various industries, including the energy, transportation and mining sector. During his university studies he gained practical experience at Fraunhofer IOSB, Bosch, and Porsche. Furthermore, he worked as a postgraduate research assistant at SusTec in 2012 and as a student teaching assistant at IFL in 2009.
