Dr. Karoline Rogge

Karoline Rogge is a lecturer in Energy Policy and Sustainability at SPRU, University of Sussex which she joined in November 2013. In addition, Karoline works as a senior researcher at the competence center Energy Policy and Energy Markets within the Fraunhofer Institute for Systems and Innovation Research (ISI) in Karlsruhe, Germany. Prior to this, Karoline taught a Master level course in "Ecological Economics“ at the Chair for Sustainability and Technology within the Department of Management, Technology, and Economics of ETH Zurich in 2012. Her current research focuses on the empirical evaluation of the impact of climate and renewables policy mixes on technological change, thereby combining elements of environmental economics, innovation studies and policy analysis. She is also involved in the EU FP7 PATHWAYS project which is exploring transitions pathways to sustainable, low-carbon societies.
