Dr. Florian Naegele

Florian was a PhD candidate at the Chair of Sustainability and Technology from 2012 to 2015. His doctoral thesis focused on innovation and diffusion of novel energy efficiency technologies.
Before joining the SusTec team, Florian worked as a consultant for McKinsey & Company where he advised clients in the aerospace, automotive and energy industry in China, Germany and the US. Prior to that, he worked for a venture capital funded technology start-up in Israel, held a postgraduate research position at Massachusetts Institute of Technology and worked for a major US investment bank.
Florian holds a degree in engineering (Dipl.-Wi.-Ing.) as well as a degree in business administration (MBA) and studied at University of Karlsruhe (KIT), Massachusetts Institute of Technology, Swiss Federal Institute of Technology (ETH) and Union Graduate College.
