Matthias Kolb

Matthias Kolb conducted his diploma thesis at Prof. Hoffman’s group in 2007 to write his diploma thesis and was subsequently employed as a scientific associate.
He holds a master in environmental sciences from the Swiss Federal Institute of Tecnology Zurich with a focus on climatology and atmospheric physics. He gained practical experiences at EMPA, within the Laboratory for Air Pollution and Environmental Technology.
In his research project at the chair of sustainability and technology, Matthias Kolb explored corporate adaptation options of organisations, concerned by direct impacts of climate change. This project is based on close collaboration with the Swiss cablecar association (SBS).
