Jonas Volland

Jonas Volland conducted his master's thesis Prof. Volker Hoffmann’s Chair of Sustainability and Technology at the Swiss Federal Institute of Technology (ETH) Zurich 2011-2012. In his master thesis he investigates the competitiveness of photovoltaic energy storage technologies and the impact on grid parity.

Jonas studies Business Engineering at the Karlsruhe Institute of Technology (formerly University of Karlsruhe). He gained practical work experience in internships at Lufthansa German Airlines (Munich), Airbus (Toulouse), Roland Berger Strategy Consultants (Shanghai) and The Boston Consulting Group (Stuttgart). He holds a scholarship from the Konrad Adenauer Foundation.
