Tobias joined SusTec for his Master’s thesis in Energy Science and Technology (M.Sc.) in 2019. In his thesis, he assessed technological learning curves for electric vehicle components and how private financing might accelerate the adoption of electric vehicles.

Tobias holds a B.Sc. degree in Mechanical and Process Engineering from ETH where he specialized on Micro- and Nanotechnology. Before joining SusTec, Tobias gained first working experience with international exposure when he did an internship with the DownloadSiemens Strategy and Business Excellence Division in Singapore. His main project was to develop a feasibility roadmap for Siemens in order to become a carbon-neutral company by the year 2030. He is passionate about the conjunction of renewable energy technologies, mobility solutions and the field of sustainable asset management.
