Joel Dunant

Joël joined SusTec for his master’s thesis in Energy Science and Technology (M.Sc.) in February 2019, in partnership with Alpiq Digital Energy Solutions. In his thesis, he proposes a comprehensive and practical approach to quantifying and breaking down the economic potential of energy management solutions for medium to large electricity consumers.

Joël holds a B.Sc. in environmental science from ETH Zurich. Before joining SusTec, Joël gained professional and international experience while working as an intern business analyst at Alpiq Digital Technologies and Innovation in Olten, and most recently as an energy analyst at the International Energy Agency in Paris. He is passionate about implementing innovative technologies in the energy sector, identifying potential synergies from a local to global level and enjoys building models and relationships, finding solutions and problems."
