Michael Vormittag conducted his master's thesis Prof. Volker Hoffmann’s chair of Sustainability and Technology at the Swiss Federal Institute of Technology (ETH) Zurich 2013-2014. In his thesis he investigates the impact of strategic alliances between technology and utility companies in the market of residential energy products and services.
Michael holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Engineering from the Karlsruhe Institute of Technology (KIT), Germany. He also holds a certification in Liberal Arts from the same university. Currently he is enrolled in the Business Engineering master’s degree program at KIT, having also studied one semester at the Singapore Management University.
He gained work experience in several teaching and research assistant jobs in the field of computer science and innovation management, in internships at Mercedes Benz (supply chain management, prototype management) as well as international internships in logistics and social entrepreneurship in Japan and the Philippines.
