Oliver Akeret

Oliver works at the Sustainability in Business Lab (Downloadsus.labvertical_align_bottom) within the Group for Sustainability and Technology (SusTec) at ETH Zürich. At sus.lab, he leads all decarbonization projects and activities, focusing on carbon dioxide removal (CDR) and carbon capture and storage (CCS) in various industries.

Oliver previously worked for the management consulting firm DownloadHCM International Ltd.vertical_align_bottom where he advised board members and senior executives in the areas of corporate governance, executive compensation, and financial steering. Prior to that, Oliver finished his bachelor’s degree in Business Administration and his master’s degree in Accounting and Finance at the DownloadUniversity of St. Gallen (HSG)vertical_align_bottom. His master thesis focused on the design of customer-centric reference processes for a blockchain-based digital identity.

In his free time, Oliver is the founder and editor-in-chief of his own football magazine, published every two years prior to World Cups and European Championships.
