Julia Bachmann

Julia works at the external pageSustainability in Business Labcall_made (sus.lab) within the Group for Sustainability and Technology (SusTec) at ETH Zürich.

Prior to sus.lab, Julia completed a Master in Management, Technology and Economics at ETH, preceded by a Bachelor in Mechanical Engineering at the DownloadUniversity of Sheffieldvertical_align_bottom in the UK. Her Master thesis, at the Chair of Logistics Management, analysed and identified strategic and operational procurement processes with Robotic Process Automation (RPA) potential across Siemens BT teams in Switzerland, America, and Poland. During her studies she worked on technology improvement projects and digital transformation projects across supply chain operations at DownloadAirbus Helicoptersvertical_align_bottom in Donauwörth, Germany. Since joining sus.lab in 2018, Julia has lead multiple industry collaboration projects focusing on circular economy topics, currently with a strong emphasis on packaging innovation.
