Aliénor von Roten

Aliénor works as a Senior project manager at the Sustainability in Business Lab (Downloadsus.labvertical_align_bottom) within the Group for Sustainability and Technology (SusTec) at ETH Zürich, focusing mainly on carbon removal (CDR) projects and working closely with the DownloadCarbon Removal Acceleratorvertical_align_bottom.

Prior to joining sus.lab, Aliénor spent four years with DownloadZurich Insurance Switzerlandvertical_align_bottom, working on climate risks, natural catastrophe management and providing parametric weather insurance for smallholder farmers in developing countries with DownloadBlue Marblevertical_align_bottom. Aliénor has a Masters in Environmental Engineering from ETH Zürich and had previously worked on Waste and Resource Management at the DownloadFederal Office for the Environmentvertical_align_bottom.

Aliénor enjoys climbing, hiking and synchronized ice skating when she's not busy baking or eating.
