Rita joined the Group for Sustainability and Technology (SusTec) in November 2023 as Project Manager in the Catapult Assessment Workstream of the DownloadCoalition for Green Energy and Storage (CGES) (PDF, 1 MB). CGES is a Switzerland-wide initiative co-led by ETH Zurich and EPFL that involves dozens of industry and philanthropy partners, researchers from all federal research institutes, as well as regional and local governments. Rita works developing a technology assessment framework and applying it to catapult (i.e. demonstration plant) candidates to ensure CGES projects contribute to the Swiss energy transition and industry.

Before joining SusTec, Rita gained professional experience as an Energy, Utilities and Environment Consultant at Sia Partners in Paris, France. There, she developed expertise on the energy transition and green gases, working with major energy companies on innovative energy projects.

Rita holds a Master’s in Engineering from DownloadCentraleSupélec, a French Engineering School part of University Paris-Saclay. She majored in Energy and minored in International Project Management. She also holds a Bachelor’s in Applied Economics from DownloadParis-Dauphine University, which she obtained during her Engineering studies.

In her free time, Rita enjoys dancing, skiing, cooking and baking. She is a real foodie and is excited to discover Zurich’s restaurant scene.
