Ricarda Fieber

Ricarda joined the Group for Sustainability and Technology (SusTec) in January 2023 as a scientific researcher and project manager at the DownloadSustainability in Business Labvertical_align_bottom (sus.lab). In January 2024, Ricarda started her PhD studies, investigating the challenges and opportunities of transitioning towards a safe and sustainable Circular Economy.

Ricarda completed her studies in Industrial Engineering with a focus on Materials and Resource Management. She studied at University of Augsburg, Carleton University in Ottawa and University of Berkeley in California. In line with her personal goal to contribute to a safe, sustainable, and circular future, Ricarda gained practical experience in decarbonization and resource efficiency projects. She gained insights from internships and working student positions at DownloadFraunhofer Institutevertical_align_bottom, DownloadInstitute for Materials Resource Managementvertical_align_bottom, DownloadKUKA AGvertical_align_bottom and DownloadSiemens Energy Middle Eastvertical_align_bottom. At Downloadsus.labvertical_align_bottom Ricarda primarily worked on circular economy projects, including food waste and packaging. 

In her free time, Ricarda enjoys playing tennis, hiking, cooking, and travelling.
