Dianne Hondeborg joined Prof. Volker Hoffmann’s Group for Sustainability and Technology in May 2020 as a project manager at the DownloadSustainability in Business Lab (sus.lab). In June 2021, she also became a PhD candidate on the topic of Carbon Dioxide Removal (CDR). Her work focusses on overcoming barriers to scale different CDR methods.

Dianne holds a Master’s degree in Management, Technology and Economics from ETH and a Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering from DownloadTU Delft in the Netherlands. During her bachelor, she also spend a semester at the DownloadUniversity of British Columbia in Vancouver, Canada. The topic of her master thesis was decarbonization of dairy farms, which was conducted in collaboration with DownloadNestlé. Prior to her thesis, Dianne did an internship in management consulting at DownloadBCG.
