Dianne Hondeborg joined Prof. Volker Hoffmann’s Group for Sustainability and Technology in May 2020 as a project manager at the DownloadSustainability in Business Labvertical_align_bottom (sus.lab). In June 2021, she also became a PhD candidate on the topic of Carbon Dioxide Removal (CDR). Her work focusses on overcoming barriers to scale different CDR methods.
Dianne holds a Master’s degree in Management, Technology and Economics from ETH and a Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering from DownloadTU Delftvertical_align_bottom in the Netherlands. During her bachelor, she also spend a semester at the DownloadUniversity of British Columbiavertical_align_bottom in Vancouver, Canada. The topic of her master thesis was decarbonization of dairy farms, which was conducted in collaboration with DownloadNestlévertical_align_bottom. Prior to her thesis, Dianne did an internship in management consulting at DownloadBCGvertical_align_bottom.
