SusTec welcomes Lisa Mangertseder as new visiting MSc Student
Lisa joined SusTec as a visiting master student in September 2022 to write her thesis. Her research focuses on the question of how to mobilize funding from private investors for technology-based carbon dioxide removal solutions.
Lisa is studying Management & Innovation at DownloadTU Munich and Digital Technology Management at the DownloadCDTM. Before joining ETH, Lisa worked in Venture Capital and Private Equity where she analyzed climate tech investment opportunities among others. There, she realized the high-risk tolerance of investors towards CAPEX heavy climate tech investments as found in the CDR space. She is eager to contribute to overcoming those hurdles to target more funding towards technologies that help prevent a climate disaster. In her free time, Lisa is either cycling, running or skiing in the beautiful mountains of Switzerland.
