In our flagship lecture Download“Corporate Sustainability” about 200 students learn about key concepts in corporate sustainability and develop skills to implement them in the real world. In our new format, we integrate collaborative activities into the course, with a 360° case study of a large Swiss retail company to foster holistic and cross-disciplinary learning. A big “Thank you!” for the ETH Innovedum grant that enabled the development of these teaching innovations and to the entire SusTec team in supporting its delivery. Between the support from the whole team and the amazing engagement of our students, the lecture was a great success!

SusTec’s lecture Download“Strategies for Sustainable Business” uses highly interactive didactic formats such as Harvard-style case studies with teamwork, computer simulations and negotiation games, discussions with industry guest speakers, and in-class conversations to give students a flavor of real-world decision-making on corporate sustainability topics. The lecture was nominated for the KITE Award 2022 as one of the innovative teaching projects and initiatives which were developed at ETH during its semesters of remote teaching.
