SusTec welcomes Oliver Akeret as new project manager at sus.lab

Oliver Akeret joined SusTec in January 2022 to work at sus.lab primarily on decarbonization projects, focusing on carbon capture and storage (CCS) in “hard-to-decarbonize” sectors such as waste-to-energy and cement.

Oliver previously worked for the management consulting firm HCM International Ltd. where he advised board members and senior executives in the areas of corporate governance, executive compensation, and financial steering. Prior to that, Oliver finished his bachelor’s degree in Business Administration and his master’s degree in Accounting and Finance at the University of St. Gallen (HSG). His master thesis focused on the design of customer-centric reference processes for a blockchain-based digital identity.

In his free time, Oliver is the founder and editor-in-chief of his own football magazine, published every two years prior to World Cups and European Championships.
