SusTec welcomes Gudrun Thorsdottir as new MSc Student
Gudrun’s thesis will focus on optimizing PET recycling and will be supervised by Catharina Bening and Georgios Mavromatidis.

Gudrun is an MTEC MSc student and a tutee at SusTec. She has a BSc in Industrial Engineering from the University of Iceland where she did exchange semesters in KTH Stockholm and Stanford. She worked in a consulting firm in Iceland and did an internship in 2020 in the Ministry for the Environment and Nat. Resources in Iceland. Her interests include cooking, knitting, reading and any outdoor and nature activities!
