Upcoming Reserach Seminar with Paul Adler (University of Southern California) on “Socialism is on the agenda for management research”

In his talk, Paul Adler will outline that Socialism is on the political agenda in several countries of the global North and is becoming an increasingly popular idea, especially among young Americans (Kight, 2019). However, what “socialism” refers to and what it would look like in practice is rather unclear. He argues not only that management research can make an important contribution to this debate but more importantly that management scholarship gives good reason to think that this radical vision should be neither surprising nor scary, but rather necessary and welcome.
