SusTec welcomes Allan Dahl Andersen
Allan Dahl Andersen is a research fellow at the Centre for Technology, Innovation and Culture (TIK) at the University of Oslo, Norway. He is a visiting researcher as SusTec until end of September 2017.
Allan's work is situated within the field of industry and innovation studies with a particular focus on the emergence and transformation of industries. He finished his Ph.D.-thesis in 2011 at Aalborg University, Denmark, which analyzed the evolution of the sugarcane-biofuel industry in Brazil. He currently works in the area of sustainability transitions with particular attention to, first, the role of electricity transmission networks in energy transitions, and, second, exploring opportunuties for how the Oil and Gas industry can participate in rather than obstruct the energy transition.
