Welcome to SusTec Ann-Kristin Zobel
In August 2015, Ann-Kristin Zobel joined SusTech as a senior researcher. Ann-Kristin brings in significant academic expertise on innovation ecosystems in the renewable energies sector.
Ann-Kristin's research focuses on how firms transform from a traditionally closed innovation model to a model of open innovation that increasingly integrates external sources of innovation and paths to markets. In this context, she is particularly interested in value creation and value capture strategies, the strategic management of intellectual property, as well as the structure and design of innovation ecosystems. Prior to joining SusTec, Ann-Kristin worked as a postdoctoral researcher at the Institute for Business Innovation, Haas School of Business, University of California Berkeley.
