MTEC Students win Swiss Social Impact Award 2015

A team of students from SusTec's "Sustainability Start-Up Seminar" has been awarded this year's SSIA and are also the winners of the SSIA Audience Award.

The team of MTEC students and participants in SusTec's Sustainability Start-Up Seminar were awarded for their concept of a new phone app called "Challenge Accepted!" Challenge Accepted! incorporates social aspects and networking with a gamification approach so that the users will enjoy reducing their environmental footprint and get rewarded for doing so by social acknowledgment. In addition to a prize money the Award includes a team workspace at the Impact Hub Zurich, personal mentoring and the exclusive participation at the European Social Impact Award Vision Conference, where the team will meet other SIA winners from all over Europe.
