David Ammann

David Ammann stayed at SusTec as a Master student and student assistant from 2013 to 2014. In his Master thesis, David investigated in a cooperation with Siemens Building Technologies, the economic potential of optimized self-consumption of photovoltaic in buildings using a MATLAB-based model.

David holds a Master of Science in Mechanical Engineering from ETH Zurich. In his studies, he focused on renewable energies and the economic feasibility of sustain technologies.
Prior to his work at SusTec, David had worked as an intern at Porsche Engineering Services in Stuttgart, Germany. During his studies, he supported the Centre of Mechanics at ETH Zurich as a student assistant and gained practical experience at ABB Switzerland as a tendering assistant in the sales department for gas-isolated switching systems.
