Allister Loder

Allister joined the Chair of Sustainability and Technology in July 2014. In his master thesis, he focused on aspects of liquidity in green power markets and how an improvement in liquidity might influence the efficiency of the green power markets.

Allister holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Mechatronics from the Technical University of Hamburg. Since autumn 2012 he is enrolled in the Energy and Science Master at ETH Zürich. In 2013 he participated in the ETH summer school „Cortona Week“. For his studies Allister receives a scholarship from the German National Academic Foundation.

Prior to joining SusTec, Allister gained working experience as an intern for Drees & Somme Advanced Building Technologies in Stuttgart, Germany, working on energy monitoring systems. He also worked as a research assistant for a project in the framework of the energy research of the city of Zürich (EFZ) aiming at a reduction of residential energy consumption. Furthermore, he gained teaching experience in Hamburg as a teaching assistant in systems theory and mechanics.
