About 60 researchers from Empa, ETH Zurich, EPFL, the University of Geneva and the Universities of Applied Sciences from Lucerne and Northwestern Switzerland have met for a workshop at lake Murten on 9 and 10 February 2017. They officially kicked off phase II of the Swiss Competence Center for Energy Research (SCCER) that focuses on Future Energy Efficient Building and Districts (FEEB&D) contributing to energy and emission reductions in the Swiss built environment. The four year program (2017-2020) continues the profound work from phase I, but will put more emphasis on the implementation, e.g. by closer collaborations with industry partners. SusTec leads Work Package 4 (WP4) whose integral part is the research on the diffusion of FEEB&D technologies from multiple perspectives.
