After completing his Master Thesis on the influence of system bottlenecks on collaboration in innovation ecosystems, Alejandro joins the group as a new PhD candidate. Besides complementing his previous work on system bottlenecks and collaboration towards its publication, Alejandro’s first research in SusTec is focused on modelling the diffusion of solar photovoltaics and the dynamics of the solar industry in Germany. The project aims at exploring the responses of the system to variations of the balance between demand-push and -pull policies put in place by the German government.

Alejandro holds a Master of Science in Energy Management and Sustainability from the Swiss Federal Institute of Technology in Lausanne (EPFL, Switzerland) and a Bachelor degree in Energy Engineering, specialized in Energy Management and Use, from the Technical University of Madrid (UPM, Spain). Prior to join SusTec, he worked as PV System Engineer at Cleanergetic (Madrid, Spain) and Business Development Analyst at First Solar (Dubai, U.A.E.).

We are happy to welcome Alejandro Nuñez Jimenez at SusTec!
